Film Fatale - Screening #5:
The Garment Jungle (1957)

It's our final film of the season, which was chosen by our viewers! By overwhelming votes, The Garment Jungle beat out Crime Wave and The Asphalt Jungle. And you won't be disappointed. This is a tough, gritty New York noir that's dressed to kill and packs a punch from start to finish.

We'll start with our curated film noir trailers and a specially selected short. The Dominion will have their specially priced noir inspired drinks list as well. So grab a drink, order some food and step back to a time when the dames had gams and the guns were always loaded.

The Toronto Film Noir Syndicate's New Season of Film Fatale series continues! Film Fatale is an "underground film noir" series, and the movies are screened in intimate, non-theatrical environments, for noir connoisseurs, thrill seekers, and adventurous film lovers. It's a noir speakeasy, and you're invited.

When: Saturday, May 31; 7:30 PM

Where: Dominion on Queen; 500 Queen St. East (back room)

What: By audience demand, our final film for the season is The Garment Jungle, directed by Robert Aldrich and Vincent Sherman, starring Lee J. Cobb, Kerwin Mathews and Gia Scala. This hard-hitting tale of corrupt union goings-on in the garment district is a perfect capping to our stellar season!
